Donabe Black Rice Pot - Banko Ware
Donabe Black Rice Pot cooks up delicious rice without adjusting the heat level. The far-infrared ray effect of Banko-yaki and its high heat storage capacity cook up delicious rice.
Black Rice pots cook rice at higher temperatures than regular donabe pots, which allows heat to convect through the pot, reducing spillovers and cooking rice at a higher temperature than regular donabe pots, resulting in delicious rice.
To cook 2 cups of white rice, heat it over medium heat for about 13 minutes. If it looks like it is about to spill over during cooking, lower the heat to low. Turn off the heat and let the rice steam for 15-20 minutes. Even after the rice cools down, you can enjoy the sticky and tasty rice.
The manufacturer was founded in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture in the Edo period, and has been active as a pottery maker for Banko ware in Yokkaichi Prefecture for more than 80 years with the motto of manufacturing pottery that customers can enjoy.
All painting is done by hand. The brushes used by the painters themselves are handmade.
