Hand made in Japan, this hand painted porcelain sake set has been inspired by the Yoshidaya ware that is very traditional – in fact, it was first created by Yoshidaya Denemon in 1824. The four basic colors that are used within this sake set are yellow, green, blue, and aubergine. Although this style of porcelain was only made for around seven years, the pottery that was created went on to inspire a huge number of other potteries and kilns, especially in Komatsu and Terai. The detailed patterns that are created here make each and every single porcelain set completely unique. You will be able to amaze and treat your friends and guests with your sake bottles and cups set.

Kutani Ware

Kutani ware is a style of Japanese porcelain first established by Goto Saijiro after the mid-seventeenth century. Production of Kutani ware ceased at the end of the 17th century, but commenced again in the 19th century. The porcelain style is known for five colors: red, yellow, green, purple and navy, which are used to paint over dynamic line drawings.
