Wakasa Lacquer Bevel Chopsticks Medium - Japanese Hand Crafted Chopsticks with Wooden Box

Red and black are painted alternately, and finally chamfered to highlight the underlying color. These chopsticks have an impressive black line in the deficit.

Born in the early Edo period, each clan competed for paint as a local industry, so it developed, spread, and diversified. Wakasa-nuri chopsticks, which have a unique personality and a soft warmth, have been handed down by skilled craftsmen of Hyozaemon.
