Delivery times may be longer than usual

Although mail items to the United States from Japan are currently being accepted, it is expected to take more than two to three weeks to load the items that have already been accepted on airplanes to that country due to the significant reduction and suspension of flights.
We sincerely apologize that delivery will take more time than usual. It would be appreciated if you would kindly understand this situation in advance.

description
Made in Osaka Japan

Sakai Kikumori master artisans have to go through years of training before they are ready to create Hongasumi knives by hand. Their incredible skill means that these Hongasumi knives are amazingly sought after, as their craftsmanship and their skill cannot be beaten. Blue Steel #1 is formed from iron, and delicate and intricate ‘mist’ patterns are created on the metal. The many forging and polishing processes create a strong and powerful knife. To complete the Blue Steel knives, traditional magnolia wood handles are created in the true Japanese style, with water buffalo horn as a bolster.

Deba Knife

The Deba is often used in the Japanese fish markets and restaurants that work with whole fish, because it is designed to behead and fillet fish without damaging the fish. Although many use the deba on other meats, the deba is not intended for chopping of large diameter bones nor should it be used by slamming down the knife like a cleaver. For the best results, please put pressure on the spine of the knife to put clean and precise cuts. Originated in Kansai (Osaka) region of Japan.
